Pollinator Gardens Are PollinatingÂ
This blooming serviceberry bush was planted last October at the Holland Lake Pollinator Garden. See what native plants are blooming early to feed hungry pollinators in one of our Pollinator Gardens planted last year at Lebanon Hills, Battle Creek, and the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden entrance area at Theodore Wirth Regional Parks.

Plant the new Turf to Pollinator Garden that will transform an area of buckthorn, degrading turf, and other invasives near the swim beach at the lower creek glen into a vibrant pollinator garden. Bring your gardening gloves and enthusiasm as we work together to create a welcoming space for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Learn more and register here
Native Plant Sales
Go native and plant some pollinator friendly native plants, shrubs, or grasses. Even a few plants in your yard or a planter can have an impact! Here's a list of native plant sales.
Visioning Lebanon Hills To 2050
Wilderness in the City supports all aspects of Dakota County's developing 2050 Parks, Greenways, and Natural Systems Vision Plan (Park Systems Plan) that build on making Lebanon Hills Regional Park the Twin Cities premier nature-based regional park.
A park whose greatest asset - its large, thriving, native, natural environment located so close to the metro area - makes it a destination park. Renowned because it provides visitors that experience, not because it replicates other parks' amenities.
Our board members are following this plan's development and will continue to keep you infomed.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Your contribution plays a crucial role in our efforts to preserve and protect Lebanon Hills Regional Park for future generations. Every dollar you donate will support projects like Bike to Hike and our Turf to Pollinator Garden project, as well as other work to preserve and enhance our favorite park.
