Celebrating 10 Years – Thank You for Joining Us!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Wilderness in the City’s 10th Annual Meeting! It was a special evening celebrating a decade of progress in protecting and enhancing our natural areas—especially at Lebanon Hills.
We were honored to be joined by Niki Geisler, Director of Dakota County Parks, who shared a high-level overview of the new 2050 Vision Plan. We look forward to working collaboratively with Dakota County Parks in years ahead, and we applaud Niki's energy, clarity, and commitment to Dakota County’s natural resources.
Over the past decade, Wilderness in the City has been proud to:
Support the creation of the County’s Natural Resources Team
Launch the Bike to Hike program
Advocate for sustainable planning that protects and restores critical and neglected natural areas
These successes would not be possible without you - your involvement, your voice, and your passion for nature.
As we look to the next 10 years, we remain committed to working closely with the County, our commissioners, and partners to shape a resilient, inclusive, and nature-rich future.
Thank you again for your support.
Be informed. Be involved.
Together, we can build a legacy for generations to come.
